They will have lances (when they are deployed).
Lace 'n Big Hats is a diary of my lead adventures. The title comes from a remark of Martin Rapier, a member of TMP. Lace 'n Big Hats aggregates historical periods such as the Lace wars, Seven years war, Napoleonic Wars etc, which had this elaborate dress as one common factor. I like the phrase so much I am thinking of using it as a name for a rule set I am working on. My historical interests are actually a bit broader, so I will be throwing in bits and pieces from WW2 and even the Modern era.

28mm Napoleonic French Vistula Legion 4th infantry regiment
These are Front Rank figures. Most of them were painted years ago. For some reason I didn't order all the figures I needed and only recently picked up the rest from the UK. Gentlemen, I present to you the 4th Vistula Legion infantry regiment.
I don't make that many units in the advancing pose as they are a pain to pack and move around the wargame table.

28mm Napoleonic French Imperial Guard Chasseurs a Pied, some British Hussars, and Vistula Legion infantry
Bumper episode. These are all from Elite miniatures.
I had the Chasseurs sitting around for years because there was no commander for them. Had to get him from the UK last trip.
Vistula legion. Very fine figures from Elite. Not many people seem to be aware of the extent of the range.
These are to make up my British Hussars to 24s from 16s, which are too weak.
